Abyssinian Oil is extracted from the seeds of Crambe Abyssinica plant. It is a natural oil with a truly unique property: its molecular structure is not found in any other natural substance.
Due to its high fatty acid content, the oil is highly resistant to oxidation, contrary to many vegetable oils. It is easily absorbed and leaves no sticky or oily feeling.
It contains high percentages of Erucic acid (Omega-9), Oleic acid (Omega-9), and Linoleic acid (Omega-6). These fatty acids enhance the regeneration of the skin, are anti-inflammatory and soothing, restore the hydro-lipidic balance of the skin, and prevent skin dehydration.
Abyssinian oil and Skin Care
Abyssinian oil is an excellent skin cleanser: it dissolves fatty pollutants and make-up traces that cannot be removed by water alone. Many people have relatively dry skin and cleansing agents based on soap or surfactants make it even drier. Abyssinian oil is the perfect solution for cleansing dry skin. Indeed, using 100 ml of it with 8 drops of anti-aging essential oil diluted in it makes a perfect cleansing and anti-aging agent!
Abyssinian oil and Shaving
Yes, when shaving, Abyssinian oil is also suitable so as to avoid soap and prevent dry skin! Due to its high vitamin E (γ-tocopherol) content, Abyssinian oil is a strong antioxidant, neutralizing free radicals that harm skin cells.
Abyssinian oil and Hair
If you want to nourish your hair and restore its shine, put 5-8 drops of Abyssinian oil in your hands and apply to your hair after showering, spreading it parallel to the length of the hair. The low density of Abyssinian oil ensures easy spread and excellent care for healthy glossy hair, enhancing its volume.
Abyssinian oil and Acne
Last but not least! Abyssinian oil is not an acne-enhancing factor. It is a particularly light, non-comedogenic dry oil you can use to cleanse and care for your oily and acne-prone skin!
