Organic Avocado oil is rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents that help the skin stay smooth, strong and supple.

Description

Avocado oil is a dry oil with a characteristic odour and is edible.

It is rich in antioxidants such as beta-carotene, lutein, zeaxanthin, lecithin, omega fatty acids and vitamin E.

The combination of these ingredients strengthens the epidermal barrier and protects the skin from the damage of ultraviolet and visible radiation, slowing down the aging of the skin.

Due to its rich content of Oleic Acid, Avocado oil gently moisturizes dry and sensitive skin, stimulates collagen synthesis and reduces inflammation. Thus, it helps to reduce itching and faster healing of scars and wounds.

Because it contains potassium and lecithin, it helps in the growth of new skin cells. According to a study, when it’s combined with vitamin B12, avocado oil accelerates the healing of psoriasis.

It is also considered a valuable oil for the hair, because it helps nourish and moisturize the scalp. It reduces dandruff and contributes to the hair growth.

Avocado oil is not recommended for oily, acne-prone skin (Fagesorogenic classification: 3).

Usage

Avocado oil is an excellent carrier oil, rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents, which help the skin stay smooth, strong and elastic.
It can be used alone, as a carrier for dissolving essential oils or in combination with another carrier oil, for the treatment of dry, dehydrated skin with eczema or psoriasis.

Ingredients

Avocado oil consist high amounts of Vitamins A, B1, B2, D, and E.
It consists of approximately 76% monounsaturated fatty acids (oleic and palmitate), 12% polyunsaturated (linoleic and linolenic acids) and 12% saturated (palmitic and stearic acids).
The main antioxidant in the oil is α-tocopherol, at levels of 70-190 mg/kg oil.
The most important carotenoid present in the oil is lutein (0.5-3.3 mg/kg oil), a substance beneficial for eye health.
The most important phytosterol found in organic Avocado oil is β-sitosterol (2.23-4.48 mg/g oil).

INGREDIENTS: *PERSEA GRATISSIMA OIL, TOCOPHEROL, *HELIANTHUS ANNUS OIL (*ORGANIC).
