Arnica oil is produced by extracting Arnica flowers in a base oil (usually olive or sunflower oil). The extract is then filtered and often stabilized with organic rosemary extract.
- Arnica inhibits the action of enzymes that cause inflammation, reducing swelling and pain from injuries, sprains, or bruises.
- It helps relieve the pain in muscles and joints.
- It accelerates the recovery of bruises and contusions.
- It has mild antibacterial and antiseptic effects, helping to prevent infection of small wounds.
- Often used in cosmetic products (shampoos, lotions) to enhance scalp blood circulation and prevent hair loss.
- People with allergies to plants in the Asteraceae family (such as chamomile, calendula, echinacea) should avoid it.
Arnica΄s extract can not be eaten and should not be used on open wounds and ulcers, nor during pregnancy and lactation.
ZELIA’s arnica extract in sunflower oil is enriched with vitamin E, which has an antioxidant effect. It is a Vegan product, approved by ECOCERT and COSMOS certified / Kosher certified.
