Borage oil is produced by cold pressing the seeds of the Borago Officinalis plant and then filtering it. It is a light yellow to greenish oil, with a characteristic odor and taste. Contains very high concentrations of Gamma-linolenic Acid (GLA), an Omega-6 fatty acid, Linoleic Acid and Oleic Acid.

It is an ideal emollient, nourishing and moisturizing oil. Can be used for the treatment of irritated, dry or atopic or eczema skin, but also acne. (comedogenic classification: 2). Can be used alone or mixed with a base oil.
